Boyoun always pays attention to the guidance of industrial transformation and product structure innovation, driven by the high-tech industrialization development.Boyoun has established four R&D platforms, including: "Shandong Industrial Design Center", "Shandong enterprise technology center", "Shandong 'one enterprise one technology' R&D center" and "Binzhou engineering technology research center".

Boyoun's R&D Platforms are replying on two pilot bases and advanced scientific research instruments and equipment, and has established a modern quality inspection center and production workshop. There are two pilot production lines, one is located in the headquarters, and the other is located in the storage area. The basic hardware conditions are the first-class in China.

Boyoun's core product: Balanced Cantilever Form Traveler and Segment Moulds, which were selected into the first batch of key products (technologies) promotion in Shandong Province, it has won the second prize of Binzhou patent award, the third prize of Binzhou science and technology progress award. In 2017, the technical research on Balanced Cantilever Form Traveler for Road and Railway construction has won the first prize of Shandong enterprise technology innovation award, and undertakes 9 projects of technical innovation in Shandong Province and Binzhou science and technology development plan, covering advanced infrastructure materials and formwork.

Research Conditions

More than 4% of Boyoun's yearly turnover is invested in the development and research of new products and technologies improvement every year, Boyoun has successively introduced the edge milling machine, bending machine, hydraulic gate shear, radial drilling machine, numerical control cutting machine, shot blasting machine, hydraulic combined punching and shearing machine, numerical control lathe, magnetic particle flaw detector, welding robot, etc.

Processing equipment has been fully equipped, and with scheduled calibration and verification, to ensure the reliability of test data. With complete testing facilities equiped, complete engineering and technical test conditions are ready for the R&D team, the standardization and research on Cantilever Form Traveler, Segmental Box Girder, Tunnel Lining Trolley, Automatic Controlled Formwork and other related product are under developed, total more than 30 types. Boyoun keeps on investing the advanced level hardware and the R&D work. Take the Product of the Cantilever Form Traveler as example, Boyoun already developed the marvelous structure that is able to form the bridge with main span of 128M, being one of few enterprises that are capable in this specification inside China.

In order to meet the different needs of various products, the R&D department has introduced 3D software modeling to carry out parametric design of products, and cooperated with Beijing Yingkeyu to carry out CAD drawing standardization and modular development, focusing on the automatic design and drawing of products and other functions, opening the way for the entire infrastructure materials industry and leading the development of the industry!

Research Achievement

Boyoun has applied for more than 100 intellectual property rights since the foundation of R&D platforms, including 81 patents and 39 software works. Boyoun has made gratifying achievements in intellectual property, initially formed a three-dimensional innovation and intellectual property protection system, further improved the applications of independent intellectual property into company's products, which closely supports industrial development of Boyoun Group. Only in 2016, 10 patents have been applied for the strategic direction of National Road and bridge construction.

Boyoun has been paying attention to the industrial transformation and product structure innovation, obtaining the certificates of “safety production standardization”and“qualified construction enterprise” and ISO QMS certificates; contentiously obtaining the awards of“the national high-tech enterprises”, the excellent innovation and transformation enterprises in Shandong Province, the new economy demonstration unit of medium-sized enterprises in Shandong Province, the pilot enterprise of the integration and management system of Shandong, Binzhou intellectual property demonstration enterprise, Binzhou innovation enterprise and so on, over 30 awards since its foundation.

Boyoun also participates in the standard setting for the national formulation, industrial and local standards. In recent three years, involving in the industry standard-technical code for cantilever casting of bridges (CJJ / t281-2018) and the local standard-technical code for safety of directly inserted formwork support in construction (dbj14-2014).

Boyoun has also published many outstanding papers in national journals and industry core journals, such as China Standardization, Engineering Construction Standardization, Architecture Research Frontier, Urban Construction Theory Research, Building Knowledge, etc.
