The Xiaqinghe super bridge, located along the Jinan to Gaoqing segment of the Jinan section of the Expressway, spans a length of 1,213.5 meters and encompasses a total of 28 spans across nine alignments, serving as an essential point of control for the entire project's course. The bridge spans over the Xiaqing River with (77 + 136 + 77) meter corrugated steel web prestressed concrete box beams.
The asynchronous form traveller construction technique utilizes wave steel webs as a robust support structure. After the transfer of the form traveller, erection of formwork, and the binding of reinforcement materials, it proceeds to pour the top and bottom floor concrete, erect wave steel webs, etc., significantly reducing the self-weight of the hanging basket and overcoming challenges such as asynchronous construction between the foundation slab and roof slab, limited hoisting space, complex rear anchor systems, and so on. This method has the potential to significantly reduce time frames and enhance safety in some measure.
The Jinan to Gaoqing Expressway is a crucial project initiated during the 13th Five-Year Plan period of Shandong Province. It is of great significance to further strengthen the radiating and driving role of the Jinan metropolitan area and promote the development of Jinan's new and old kinetic energy conversion pioneer area.
