Jieyang-Huilai Railway Project

Description

The package 2 of the Jieyang-Huilai Railway is located in Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, with a total length of approximately 21 kilometers. Boyoun participated in constructing multiple continuous beams in this project, including those with spans of 83+152+83m, 72+128+72m, and 40+64+40m.

The Meizhou-Shantou Railway Mega Bridge has a total length of 2,977.81 meters and is a crucial control project for the entire Jieyang-Huilai Railway. It adopts 83+152+83m continuous rigid frame with a single box and single cell structure, and form traveler cantilever casting construction.

Since the continuous beam needs to cross the Jieyang-Puning-Huizhou Expressway, which has a high traffic flow, to ensure the safety of the construction personnel and vehicles and personnel passing below, the form traveler is equipped with a fully enclosed protection system, which can freely control the height. The facade adopts prefabricated galvanized steel wire mesh sheets that can be opened with windows and are convenient for loading and unloading. 

The top and bottom widths of the continuous beam are 9.1 meters and 7.6 meters, respectively. The gap between the two diamond-shaped frames is relatively large, and the wing flange is relatively short (0.75 meters), and the weight of the beam segment that is heavy (the heaviest block is 245 tons), resulting in great construction challenging. In response to the actual project situation, the technical engineers of Boyuan have carried out a series of optimizations on the hanging basket to ensure a safe and smooth construction of the form traveler.

The Rongjiang North River Mega Bridge has a total length of 2.69 kilometers and is also a key control project for the entire Jieyang-Huilai Railway. When crossing the Rongjiang North River, a 72+128+72m single-track prestressed concrete continuous beam has been adopted. The beam body is a single box and single cell, variable height, and variable cross-section structure, and the construction is carried out by the cantilever casting method using form traveler.

The Jieyang-Huilai Railway is a crucial project in the 14th Five-Year Plan of Guangdong Province. Upon completion, it will greatly enhance the service quality of ports, drive the agglomeration of port-related industries and the development of the regional port economy. At the same time, it is of great significance for improving the construction of the intercity railway network for interconnection in eastern Guangdong, promoting the in-depth integrated development of the surrounding areas, and achieving high-quality development in the areas along the line.
