On December 29th, the commencement of the 50,000-ton-level navigation channel project at Binzhou Port and the successful completion of the G228 Dandong Line Binzhou Section Taoer River Mega Bridge were celebrated.

The Taoer River Mega Bridge, constructed by the Eighth Bureau of China State Construction, is a key part of the G228 Dandong Line Binzhou Section highway project in Binzhou, Shandong Province. The bridge is 4,334 meters long, with the main span designed as a 128+338+128m hybrid beam continuous rigid frame bridge with two lanes. Upon completion, it will become the world's longest-span hybrid beam bridge.

Boyoun provided over 2,500 tons of construction equipment for this project, covering multiple types of products such as form travelers, brackets, hydraulic systems, and intelligent walking control systems. The Boyoun form traveler used this time integrates cast-in-place, cantilever casting, segmental assembly, and integral hoisting, running through the whole construction process of the concrete section, steel-concrete composite section, and steel box girder section of the bridge.

Key Features of Boyoun's form traveler for the Taoer River Mega Bridge:

1. The components of form traveler used for the bridge construction are compatible with the supports, reducing the project's material investment.

2. Due to the cantilever casting section's large self-weight and steel box girder sections, the local structure of the form traveler was reinforced, and higher-strength Q355 material was used to meet the required strength and stiffness.

3. The form traveler employs a dual-track intelligent synchronous walking system, enabling synchronized monitoring and dynamic correction during the walking process.

4. Prior to delivery, laser cutting and pre-assembly and pull tests of major components were conducted to avoid potential issues in later stages.

5. Boyoun provided continuous and professional standardized services to ensure the smooth progress of the project, including on-site guidance for form traveler assembly and walking, as well as periodic safety inspections during form traveler use, to ensure the safe, orderly, and efficient construction of the project, reducing costs and increasing efficiency for the client.

The closure of the Taoer River Mega Bridge marks a significant milestone in the project's construction. The travel time across the river will be reduced from the original 90 minutes to just 5 minutes, which will play a crucial role in promoting the integrated development of the Bohai Economic Rim, accelerating the transformation of new and old growth drivers in the Bohai region, and supporting ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin.
