Description

Han River Second Bridge Project starts from the north side of Fanjiatai Bridge in Shayang County, connects with the G348 National Road Shayang City Ring Section Project, crosses the river on the north side of Xincheng Ship Lock, passes through Gaojiatai, Duobao Town, Tianmen City, and ends at Lijiatai , which is connected with Tianmen section of G348 National Highway. The main bridge has a total length of 2277 meters, and the largest single-hole span of the main bridge is 160 meters. The bridge is designed as a two-way four-lane, with a total length of 4.3 kilometers, covering four main piers, and the main span is 160 meters. The total cost is 613 million yuan. It belongs to the special bridge project. 

For a long time, there is only one bridge over the Han River, which has been in operation for 30 years, connecting Shayang County and Tianmen City in Hubei Province. Cars, trucks, civilian vehicles, and even bicycles and other vehicles are mixed on the bridge every day, which is not only very crowded , and there is a greater security risk. After the completion of the Shayang Hanjiang Second Bridge Project, it will further improve the county road network structure, optimize the urban spatial layout, effectively divert urban traffic across the river, improve the traffic capacity and service level of the national highway, and promote the rapid development of local economy and society.
