Saribas Bridge is one of the crucial projects under Section 2 of the Coastal Highway in Sarawak, Malaysia. The length is 1,550 meters and the structure is characterized by four simple supported T beams and eight cantilever box griders. The maximum span is 200 meters and the continuous rigid bridge is a single cell box girder, with variable height and variable section structure cast-in-place prestressed concrete box girder with form travellers cantilevered construction.
The bridge is situated in a harsh marine environment, with all eight main bridges situated in water. Its single span and overall bridge length surpass the domestic classification standards for super long bridges, presenting significant challenges in construction. Based on the on-site situation, the Boyoun engineer team developed a comprehensive service plan that provided hands-on guidance during the assembly, maneuvering, and other crucial moments of the hanging basket group. Complete and thorough monitoring is performed, strictly adhering to safety, quality, and progress control to ensure smooth project execution.
Recently, Boyoun's continuous beam form travellers equipment was praised in the Saribas Bridge project under Section 2 of the Coastal Highway of Sarawak in Malaysia , which was built by Zhejiang Communications Construction Group Co,Ltd,. Boyoun's outstanding performance has been unanimously acknowledged by the project department and awarded an honorary certificate.
The successful launch of Saribas Thames Bridge will further enhance the traffic flow in eastern Malaysia, promoting regional integration and socio-economic development. This bridge will also become a prominent symbol in "Overseas Boyoun". It will also make a stunning statement on the 10th anniversary of "One Belt and One Road"
