The Xunyang Han River Bridge on the National Highway 211, located in Xun City of Shaanxi Province, constitute a vital link across the Han River for the National Highway 211 as well as the Shiyan–Tianshui Expressway Xunyang Connecting Road. This bridge serves as an essential conduit between Xunyang County, the Shiyan–Tianshui Expressway, and the Jiangnan New District. The commencement point of this bridge is designated as K3 + 792.953 and its terminal location is K4 + 199.953, spanning a total distance of 407 meters. The maximum height of the structure is 57.5 meters, with the main pier reaching a height of 45 meters.
The superstructure of the main part of the bridge consists of a pre-stressed concrete continuous rigid frame measuring (55 + 2 x 100 + 55) meters. which is composed of a single box and single box section. The main bridge box girder except the pier top block piece adopts the method of cantilever casting for construction. It is separated into 12 pairs of beam sections, which are symmetrical cantilevered casts in stages at 6 x 3.5 + 5 × 4.5 meters.
With construction completion of this bridge, it is anticipated that the current congestion on National Highway 211 will receive comprehensive resolution. The connection with the Tianshui Expressway Xunyang Connecting road will forge a seamless transition between vehicles traveling east to west and north to south within the urban area. This will enable National Highway 211 to fully leverage its function as an external traffic corridor. Simultaneously, the fast development of regional economy in Xunyang City will experience significant advancement due to the completion of this bridge.
