The Luzhou Tuojiang Super Bridge is located in Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. It has a total length of 2,613.315 meters, a main bridge tower height of 115.7 meters, and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is the first high-speed railway in China to adopt a double-column V-shaped bridge tower and a spatial fan-shaped cable stay cable. The main beam of the bridge is a continuous rigid frame reinforced with (124+240+124) meters of cable across the Tuojiang River. It is the longest-span prestressed concrete rigid frame continuous beam bridge on the entire line of the Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway.
The main bridge continuous beam is a prestressed concrete single box double cells inclined back slab box girder, with a total length of 489.6 meters and encompassing a staggering 115 sections. The pier table block and tower-girder joint area feature a substantial volume, long cantilever support, and large cantilever pouring segment weight, utilizing Boyoun's fully enclosed cantilever form traveller construction. The entire main girder weighs up to 47,000 tonnes.
