Description

The Guohe Eighth Bridge is located in Huaiyuan County, Bengbu City, Anhui Province, with a total length of 1201m. The main bridge adopts a (95+180+95)m prestressed concrete short tower cable-stayed bridge, with a system of consolidated tower beams and separated piers and beams. The (40+70+40)m variable cross-section prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge is used across the south bank embankment, and all are constructed using form travelers.

The main beam adopts separated double main box large cantilever variable cross-section precast continuous box beam section, straight web form, and is divided into 26 beam sections, including 2 pier table beam sections and 24 form traveler cantilever cast beam sections. The variable-section continuous beam across the south bank embankment is arranged in double width, with a total width of 40m. The single-width box beam adopts a single-box double-cell straight web section.

This cantilever form traveler adopts a lightweight design as a whole. Based on the original plan, the Boyoun design team went through structural analysis and calculations and multiple rounds of technical discussions, and finally adopted semi-automatic retractable formwork structure, integrated processing technology. On the premise of ensuring the safety of the form traveler, the weight of the form traveler was reduced by about three times.

Boyoun has a provincial R&D platform, a R&D team of more than 30 people, and more than 100 technology patents. The current universal rate of form traveler reaches more than 90%. In 2021, it won the sixth batch of national manufacturing individual championship products.
