The Baoyin Railway Shizuishan Bridge spans Jianbin Highway (60+120+60) m continuous girder box girder length of 241.5 m, the maximum girder height is 9.65 m,and utilizes the methodology of cantilever segmental pouring, commence with the outer span, followed by the central span construction.
Throughout the project, Boyoun provides multiple sets of cantilever form traveller. During the project construction period, due to the Jianbin Road that the continuous beam spans being a high-grade highway connecting the 110, 109 national roads, Beijing-Zhangjiakou Expressway, and Binhe Boulevard from west to east, the height and traffic volume of this highway present substantial implications for construction, escalating the construction technical complexity and safety risk.
To ensure a seamless closure, Boyoun overcame numerous technical and impromptu difficulties, completed all form traveller deliveries within the intended construction timeline, while manifesting post-sales engineers for site instruction to confirm construction progress. On September 27, the heavy-duty bridge that spanned over Baolan Railway, weighing approximately 12000 tons and extending 176 meters, practiced a clockwise rotation of 26 degrees to complete the rotation. On October 28, the continuous girder seamlessly transpired across Jianbin Road (60 + 120 + 60) meter.
The Baoyin Railway line spans a length of 519 kilometers, planned at a speed of 250 kilometers per hour. It is an essential component of China's "Eight Vertical Eight Horizontal" High-Speed Railway. Upon completion of the Baoyin High-speed Railway, the journey from Yinchuan to Beijing will be reduced from 16 hours to 5 hours. This will speed up economic and social development along the route, support the implementation of the country's "Great Western Development" strategy.
